Laundry detergent in toddlers eye. HELP!

i took a half hour shower with him to get it off of him..

he was being sneaky and not wanting to sleep he climbed up on a chair and got up a counter and got to the top of the fridge and pored it everywhere on him and it got into his eyes. they are red..
he didnt drink any
he will not allow me to flush his eyes.

what do i do?

do i take him it or let it ride.. idk

Did you call poison control? They could probably give you the best advice.

You could always hold him down and do it anyways. But if he doesn't seem to be bothered I wouldn't worry about it.

I would take him in or do some research and read the bottle! I hope his eye doesn't get infected. Good luck hun.

hes just blinking a little extra he isnt rubbing his eyes or crying.. i just hear so many horror stories about stuff like this.

:/ I tried to look this issue up for you but it was pages of articles about exploding tide pods. (Making a mental note not to buy them or at least hide them way high up!)
Did you try poison control to see if they recommend a more through eye flushing or hospital visit?
Eta: just noticed someone suggested poison control already. Sorry for being redundant.

thank you. i am hoping the same. im pretty sure he will be fine.. im just a person that would rather be safe then sorry.
