I just joined this site just to answer you   (I roamed through Facebook before)

I had that with my daughter. For me, I was 6 weeks and I lifted something very heavy at work and felt an immediate twinge in my belly, and the bleeding started the next day. I bled with tissue loss for 10 days, and then had more tissue loss for another 10 days.
After an ER visit and multiple OB visits, they determined that I was hemorrhaging behind the placenta (part of the edge had torn off my uterus). I was on bed rest for like 6 weeks, and took it easy for a few weeks after that. Baby turned out TOTALLY fine. I would just say to totally avoid lifting heavy things for at least a few weeks- like your kids!- until that tear heals up.
Don't worry, momma! Just take it as easy as you can, and I'm sure your baby will be fine, like my girl was

I had the same problem with my sons pregnancy and he just turned 1 in November... I was 10 weeks when it happened i was at work and just started bleeding and freaked b/c i had already had 3 miscarriages but it was behind the placenta where the blood and tissue was coming from they made me take a couple weeks off work to let it heal and did another ultrasound to make sure it was healing right... I hope everything works out for you try not to worry yourself to much it just adds too much stress for you and your little one good luck

Awww!!! Well I feel super special!!!!   Welcome to babygaga!! Thanks so much for the encouragement. I've been feeling super down about it. I had so much bleeding yesterday I thought for sure my baby was gone.   It's so nice to hear stories about successful pregnancies after these large hemorrhages. Good luck on your current pregnancy!!!

Thank you so much!! Makes me feel a lot better. I'm not really sure what caused all this except for that maybe I'm lifting my kids too much... That's not going to sit well with my little girl when I have to stop picking her up. But I did worry about how much I should be lifting them. I'm just taking it easy and hoping for the best. Thank you!!!!!

Not personally but I do have a friend who had that problem at 8 weeks, again at 16 weeks and then a final time at 22 weeks and went on to have a perfectly healthy baby girl at 38 weeks.

I had a very small one that has resolved itself. I am currently 18 weeks pregnant. There is a support group on Baby Center for woman that have subchorionic hemorrhages . It's a great group. There are some very sad stories but also some amazing ones too. Good luck

My daughter is 3, but still loves to be held and carried. I've found that if I make her stand on a chair or couch and pick her up from there, it's a bit easier- I don't feel the "strain" on my belly like I do when I pick her up from the ground. Granted, she's like 35 pounds and 42 inches tall... big girl lol
