question about pregnancy

Ok I feel like a complete idiot......I had my son on the 27th of December and I had a tubal ligation at that time....well long story short, doc told me that they had missed my right tube and that there was like 1 in a 1000 chance of me getting pregnant because I already have 2 uterus and it was the right side that they missed the tube and he didn't think I could get pregnant at all in the right....well now at 4 weeks me and my husband had sex and now here we are at 6 weeks and last night I thought I was getting my period because I wiped and there was blood, and it never turned into a period.....and I am hoping that I wasn't completely stupid and now pregnant again!!!!! what do you think.....was it the start of my period, or was it implantation bleeding? also I was only able to breast feed/ formula until 3 weeks, and then I lost my milk supply!!!!!

It could be very possible that you might be pregnant. It is doubtful that you would be starting your period right now, but there is a chance. I would test as soon as you can. I'd use back up birth control in the mean time.

yeah I was afraid of that.....I didn't bleed very long after my c-section just a little under 2 weeks.....plus if I am pregnant I know it is very high risk with just having a c-section....I guess i will sneak a pregnancy test here the next time I get paid.....I'm not even off of maternity leave with this one!!!!! I think if I was my husband would flip.....thats why I said sneak a test!!!!

Test as soon as you get you can get an accurate answer or call your OB if you don't figure anything out definitively (sometimes it takes a while for people to get a pos). You have a higher risk of ectopic pregnancies if you get pregnant post tubal ligation.

how long dose it take to get a positive answer after having sex....I never could figure that part out on when I should test

Wait 2 weeks to test. Just to be on the safe side. Until then get birth control or use condoms.

yeah I plan on using protection until then, and if I haven't gotten my period by then I will take a test......just a little freaked out!!!!
