I miss my husband

  he had the overnight shift tonight and I'm kinda lonely. I wish I could bring ds to bed to cuddle but he won't sleep unless he's in his crib   I swear I got married to be alone. I've never spent so many nights by myself as I have since being married. These hours were supposed to be short term two years ago.

I miss mine too...he's been gone since march 2012...

It sucks. My husband works 5pm to 5am so I know what you're talking about.

Luckily if mine works the night shift he leaves as I lay down and gets home when I wake up

That's the smurffy part. I'm the active duty one in our marriage doesnt that mean I'm supposed to be gone at night lol. But I'm sorry I'm know that must be hard on you. What branch is he? I'm navy.

He is in the Army

My husband works all the time. I hate it. He may not be gone like overnight? But he's ALWAYS at work. In his office, on a job site...etc...I hate it.

I think there is strength on both sides. My husband has to say goodbye to us for a year and come back to grown up kids. That would be HARD

That's why I'm separating hopefully. I can't deploy and leave my son.

Mine doesn't either. He worked all day friday until about 7 oclock then went back to work on Saturday at 1 until about 7, and he's not going to get a raise or anything. His boss gave him a $40 bonus I heard. Like that really helps you know? To work so much.

We may get compensated later on. But right now it's nothing.

The other thing that pisses me off? They work in a small business, 4 employees and the boss. And the guys that work the most? Are the ones that are married, which means my husband another employee and the boss. The single guys think it's a 9-5 job and that's it.

He was supposed to not work today, but sure enough the boss calls again. About 6 times, something else is wrong and my husband needs to fix it.
