Like I have mentioned in a past post I am a small person but my baby's sono says that she is measuring 6 lbs. I have a back injury that I recieved while I was still working yet it has not healed. I can tell the baby is getting big because she is causing severe pain to my injury. Will my OB consider induction if it gets any worse? The pain is unbearable sometimes to the point my left leg (which is the leg being affected by the injury) literally buckles and gives our right from under me! I have had a few very close calls lately!
I'm 4'9 and carried my first 2 weeks over, just have to make it through it. I know it's painful, i know it's rough but hang in there. They don't induce just because of large babies or small mamas.
I'd never had been induced if it wasn't for me actually having an iugr.
Ultrasound weights are known to be wrong. They're only guesses. Best thing you can do is discuss it with your Dr. I'd see about maybe going onto bed rest. Also getting a prenatal massage might help some as well. One of those belly braces (not sure of the exact name) is also an idea.
im 5'2, was all baby. We talked about induction, but that was for possible pre-e (which they found as i was in labor)
i went into labor at 37 weeks. but you can talk to your OB, but nothing will be done before 37 weeks.
oh geez, i didn't realize you only have 2 more weeks left.
I keep thinking it's still january.
Just relax as much as you can.
6lbs isn't big and i know you may have a hurt back but just take it easy, it's almost over!
