Hi, my name is Molly and I am new here.

Anyways I need some help with my daughter. She is 10 yrs old. She is physically 10 but mentally she is only about 7 yrs old.

Well friday night I let her sleep at my friends house, with her daughter (they are best friends) she is only 7 yrs old. Well my friend called me and told me that the girls were trying to look up porn on the computer, when they were supposed to be listening to music. But they both are young and cant spell, so stuff was like nakud (naked) peepole (people) and so on.

She came across a video that they actually watched on youtube, called how to get a girl in your bed. As well as how to put a condom on,and on google history they watched a videon called a mature man undressing (which she said she didnt personally watch) so we dont know if they actually saw anything.

I am at lost of words here on this   I have no idea where this is coming from, she is very delayed in all aspects of normal stuff let alone this kind of stuff. And her daughter is actually only 7 and still has no idea how a baby is even born other then by csection. I havent talked to my daughter yet on this issue, cause well I have no idea where to begin other then wondering if maybe someone told her something or done something, but I dont know if it was the friends idea and she was told about stuff or had something happen.

Where do I start? I know its curiosty and all that, which is fine, but at 7 no not really and my daughter being mentally 7 she comprends just as much as a normal 7 yr old.

Loosing my mind.

I'd be wondering why they weren't being monitored while they were online personally (my oldest is 7 and if he's on the computer we check on him every 10 min even tho he only ever goes on Lego.com). I'd also be wondering why she waited until Sunday to tell you rather than right away Sat when you picked DD up (or they dropped her off)

I'd talk to your DD and remind her about responsible online behavior and websites that are OK for her to be on.

I would talk to your daughter and ask her about what happened

I am new here too, and well my kids are young still toddlers, but I think the best advice is to ask her if she heard something from other people about what she watched or try watching. Is best to let them know everything now since kids now a days are more "advanced" on topics like this because of other kids who don't have their parents to teach them and be there for them. Explain why the condoms are used like getting sick for having sex, and still not right for her in couple years because still comdom can brake and so on. Don't use words as HIV, and the whole word just simple words for her ahe still explaining the consequesces ;)

I learned what sex is when I was about 7, and I had a lot of questions.
She's probably just really curious and afraid to ask you anything because it's embarrassing or something.
So maybe sit her down and have a frank discussion about her questions and what's appropriate/inappropriate.

And always make sure she's monitored online. Even if she wasn't looking for that stuff, we all know it's easy to stumble upon accidentally.

It happened at 4am when everyone was sleeping. And she didnt know till today. Cause they left all the windows opened on the computer. When she turned it on.
My daughter is on youtube all the time at home and we have never had an issue, she is on youtube on her ipod and I checked all the history on it, and everything is about monster high dolls and how to make your own lipgloss.

Thats why I am kinda bugging out about it. But my daughter just started sex ed and puberty in grade 5 class, but I dont think they go into that much detail it would spike that much curiosty.

I don't think it takes that much to spike that kind of curiosity in a kid, honestly.

We all have parental blocks on our computers so I am not sure how they got the video of an old man taking his clothes off. Even the ipod and ipads have blocks on them.

Hunh, well, she's obviously really curious.
My mom never discussed sex with me, at all, and so I was never comfortable asking her anything. I didn't want to bring it up. Now that your dd is starting to learn about that stuff in school, maybe you should have regular little chats to talk about sex and stuff, so that she knows it doesn't have to be all taboo and something she can only find out about by sneaking around the internet at 4am.

I would ask her why she was on those websites. My guess is she heard it at school

I will have to figure a way to talk to her, she really is not capable of having this kind of conversation at all. I know she was looking at it, but I do know it wasnt her searching it, cause she cant read yet (due to her delays) and the other little girl reads and is very smart for her age (I just guess not a good speller)

It was all on youtube, but the one video, was actually in the google search engine. The rest were under videos you may like, on the side bar. We know that from the history and them leaving all the windows open not knowing any better.

does she go to school? my next door neighbor who was 10 made me do some things when i was little i didn't want to do. it made me think that was normal... i'd hate that happened to her but most kids that age find out from someone else.

My daughter came home & told me that she learned what a blow job was. She said a 2nd grader told her. I wouldn't worry to much but have a talk with her
