It could really be either. Since you got a BFN today, I'd test again Friday or Saturday as that would be 15-ish days since you had sex.

It's a bit tricky if you haven't had a normal cycle yet.

Typically EWCM is before you O. It's the "sperm friendly" CM. I've had it present up to a week or so before I would have O'ed and a week after O as well. It doesn't really tell you when you're going O though.

As far as when you O, that depends on really a couple of things. How long your cycle is and if AF is regular. <i>Generally </i>it's around CD 14. (Cycle Day, starting the first day of AF). When you O the egg can live 12-24 hours and in healthy CM sperm can live 5-7 days.

Implantation can occur as early as 6 dpo and as late as around 12dpo. Normally it's around 9dpo though and it's common to spot anywhere in there as implantation bleeding, but not all women have it.
