That temp is too high for just cutting teeth. Well, according to the doctor we see.

Personally, I'd give him the Motrin and wait an hour to see if it comes down at all. If it doesn't then I'd make sure he is in cool loose clothing and give him some water. Monitor him for a few hours then give him Tylenol.

if he's cutting teeth u can also try hyland's teething tablets they work great and help with the pain and its all natural and doenst toughen up thier gums like oragel does. and u can also try a luke warm bath to help with the fever. Our pedi always alternate tylenol and motrin every 3 hours for pain/fever.
