Sex induced labor.

posted 3rd Feb
I know sex helps jump start labor, if ready.

just curious as to if there are certain positions or anything that help better than others?

No. It's the sperm that helps start the labor.

It's not the sex it's the sperm and orgasms that help so whatever position is comfortable for you.

My doctor told me it's not so much about the sperm if ready, it's more about an orgasm for yourself that can cause contractions. is that not true?

I had sex the morning I had both kids (both induced) and was actively in labor on my own when I got there

Well the sperm helps ripen the cervix and the orgasm causes contractions. It's both.

I knew the sperm helped the cervix, I think my doctor is hoping more towards contractions. so maybe that's what he was saying.

everyone says its the sperm its not the sperm that help its the hormon from the semen that helps soften your cervix its the same hormon they use when they induce you just well natural. positions wont do anything that i know of just be careful and dont hurt urself trying to do something
