poop ( tmi)

Okay I just started to find my son baby food the 31 and he had a hard poop this morning and he just had one now. But he tried to poop more and you could seen it come out but then he stopped? My sister had really a hard time pooping when she was a baby. But my moms thinks to just slow down on the baby food. But I'm just making sure he won't get constipated. Should I slow down or just stop feeding him it?

Its not solids, its just baby food. He is taking it very well. And he is under weight so I thought this would help him gain more.

baby food is considered solids! 4 months is a little bit to early!

Anything that's not formula is considered a solid. Clearly it's stopping him up and he doesn't NEED it. He only NEEDS formula or bm until a year old.

My mom started her kids at that age so I thought I should and see how he acts with it.
