5 week old and stomach virus.

She has thrown up her last two feedings, and had a poopy diaer. The stomach virus has been going through my house since Friday.

I'm so worried because she's so young. There is no fever just pooping and puking.

What should I watch for? How many wet diapers should she have.

I would watch for throwing up after each feeding, and no peeing in an 8 hour period. Also keep an eye on her soft spots. If they seem sunken in that means she is dehydrated. At her age a stomach virus would be very hard on her little body! Hope she feels better.

I would make sure to call her pediatrician first thing in the morning to be safe. She is very very young and can get dehydrated very easily. Good Luck mama!
