Could this be early labor?

I'm 37 weeks and I couldn't sleep very well last night b/c I was either up to pee or was having to move around b/c my hips were hurting and numb like. Then today I have had this crampy, stinging feeling in my lower abdomen sometimes really low sometimes just under my belly button and bloated. When I walk it feels like the baby might fall out my butt! (Sorry but it does lol) My stomach isn't visibly tightening and I can't touch it and tell as my belly has felt tight my entire pregnancy but just wondering if anyone's contractions started like this? Last week my cervix was short and thinning but not dilated and I am not supposed to go back until Thursday.

Sounds similar to how labor started with my oldest. so I'd say it's very possible it's early labor.

Do you remember how long you felt like this before you knew it was really labor?

It was about 2 days.

Thanks. I just don't want to go to the hospital just for them to tell me to go home. I guess I will just wait it out and see if it progresses into something more!

the night before I actually went into labor, labor.. I just KNEW it was coming soon. I felt different.

This is my first pregnancy so I'm not 100% sure if I should trust my gut, but it's funny you said you just felt different b/c yesterday I said that. I hope it turns out to be true labor. I'm ready to meet my little lady.

Very possible. I just had a feeling.
I'm waiting for that same feeling this time too ...lol
