I have $1,000 up for it to be fixed, but I'd hate to spend more than what I absolutely have to.. but I'd like it fixed as early as possible. esp since I'm due next week with baby #2. I already don't drive much because I dont want to take my 3 year old out in the cold. and it's been in the negatives out. so my mom has been doing all the driving when I need to go places.

I got an estimate from the shop I had mentioned, and it was roughly $560 with labor BUT, she could get me a deal.. if I purchased the piece myself they could put it in for $350. and before I purchase the item they will make sure it's 100% what I need. so it'll roughly be $400 for it to be done.

That's not bad at all really

That's a great price! And it really is the biggest pain in the ass to change it. Ours blew a hole in it so it was leaking antifreeze I think. It greased up our windshield when we were driving. Hell of a scary moment! Lol. Good luck!

Mine did that too, and because it was Dex-cool, my car smelled like fish for weeks until it warmed up enough to roll down the windows and air it out.
