past due

So I know I'm only a day past due so far but its enuff to make me go insane ! There's no room left for him or me at this point ! Its constant aches and pains and a smurf ton of pressure ! As of Friday I was still only 2 cm dilated they made me an ob appt for tomorrow at 9am where they will be scheduling my induction ! Please everyone say alittle pray while keeping fingers crossed that they will be able to squeeze us in tomorrow ! So overly ready to meet my littleman and finish our perfect little 4 person family <3

Your due date can be off by two weeks. Your babe will come when he/she is ready. Why rush an induction?

Will keep you in my thoughts. I went 4 days overdue with my last. I was less than 24 hours away from my scheduled induction when my water broke at 3 am.

This is the face I made when I read the title of this topic  . Sorry OP. I'm not overdue but I'm soooo ready for this little to make his grand entrance so I understand. The pains are ridiculous at this point. So uncomfortable.

Why not try to go natural?

People are so quick to want an induction because they're "over due". That could be a complete lie!
I'm only being induced in 5 weeks because I need surgery after. Same reason I was with DD (different surgery though). I was lucky enough to have a very, very good experience when I was induced with DD (had her within 3 hours and wasn't even dilated when I was induced!). I'm hoping it is the same this time around.


OP, you should really wait until your body is ready. So should your doctor.
