2 "when did you" questions.....

1. When did you give ur LO a sippy cup?

2. When did you start baby food??

9 months I think. He didn't like sippys until he was about a year though. And we started solids at 6 months I believe.

6 months with both.

Im working on the sippys now, my son was on them by 9 months hoping the same with my baby....


Baby food 4 months with added rice cereal for AR.

I introduced it as early as 6-7 months and baby food was the same around 6-7 months just little tries here and there nothing too big both my son and daughter at 6-7 months stopped the bottle and went to sippy...

6 1/2 months for both. We started really slow. The sippy cup was basically a toy though.

1 7 months just about, maybe 8
2 3 months

Just recently started introducing the sippy at 6 months and started food at 4 months.

16 or 18 mo she was fully transitioned to sippies.

8 months for food, she refused baby food and only wanted table scraps.

Food was six months and sippy was a year.

1. 6 months
2. 3 months a soppy with water for in between feeds (i bf)

1) Sippy at 4 months its was the NUK training cup
2) No baby food but we started BLW around 5.5 months.

Both around 4 months...now he couldn't really use the sippy cup at first but it was introduced and by 5 1/2 months he could use it. I put juice in it so it gave for a different taste...now he gets water with a splash of juice for flavor...only problem I'm having now is I never used to put formula in his sippy so he won't take milk in anything but a bottle  

Thanks ladies. My son will be 4 mons on feb 11th and he's acting interested in food the past 3 days or so he will watch us eat and lick his lips! I gave him a baby spoon and he put it right in his mouth and sucked on it. So just curious! He has a doctor appt on the 21st so I will mention these things to his dr and see where to go from there. I've also seen some sippy cups that says for 4 mons+ and didn't know if I should try it here soon. I appreciate the replies!

Sippy cup at 4 months she wouldn't take a bottle so we tried that. Solids at 5 months.
