visitation

So my son is 4 1/2 months. As of right now he stays with me and my family and if his dad wants to see him he either has to have someone bring him here or we have to go to him. This is because he has 2 DUI's against him and currently has no license. We haven't talked about a visitation schedule yet but what is reasonable for my son's age??? I don't trust my ex to watch him alone due to him being an alcoholic. He has messed up with him in the past and I have lost all trust with him to do this alone. I'm new to this as Michael is my first child. TIA ladies!

Well are you planning on having visits at your house? When we had court supervised visits, his visits were 2 hours long. Once a week. I'd say if it's happening at your house, maybe offer 2 days for a few hours each time?
