Breastfeeding question

Im currently sick and breastfeeding can i get my daughter sick if i breastfeed her while im sick?

Well she could get sick from the close contact, but not from the breastfeeding

It can actually protect her by providing her with the antibodies your body is producing to fight your ickies right now.

I breastfed my son whenever I was sick and he never caught what I or anyone else had. Now that I've weaned him, he's got a cold for the first time.  

Not from the breastfeeding. The antibodies your body is producing to fight this off may help prevent her from getting it.

A mask would be pointless right now. She's already been exposed to whatever it is you have.

If you are sick the Dr will recommend more brestfeading  

You already exposed her to whatever you have wearing a mask is pointless. Breast feeding her will give her the anti bodies to protect her from it. If she gets it it won't be as bad.
