Could this be labor?
posted 3rd Feb
I took a shower and grabbed some food and when i sat down to start eating i realized that my hands were shaking uncontrollably. I'm 38 weeks and 3 days. I've already dilated to a 2 (I don't know how this is relevant, but if you were wondering). Could this be a sign of early labor? I've heard of people getting the shakes when they're in transition, but i haven't felt any contractions yet, but my abdomen has been feeling sore all day. Has this happened to anyone else?

I wouldn't assume early labor, I would assume low blood sugar from being hungry.

I was really shaking when I went in to labor but I was really hungry and I couldn't eat:/

Exactly. That is not a sign of early labor

I'm 38w3d as well... I do the same thing when I'm hungry. If I wait too long to eat I get really shaky. Not a sign of labor though. At least I wouldn't think so

I would get the shakes randomly up to 2 weeks before I was induced for being almost 2 weeks past my due date. Not a sign in the least bit.
