convertible car seat/compact cars

this is for momma's who have compact or smaller sized cars. i have a 2000 dodge neon.

ok, so, i am going to keep DD rear facing for as long as i possibly can. i've asked about convertible seats before and i am about 95% sure we have one picked out. i've heard good things about it, but it is also going to pretty much take up my entire back seat. which is totally ok with me as long as it DOES fit. lol. the one i'm planning on getting is the graco my ride 65. is there maybe another good convertible seat that DD would be able to use for a while that does NOT cost a billion dollars and would fit well in my car?

The headstart 70(target) my size 70(BRU) both by graco are very similar to the my ride but dont appear to be as bulky and wide.

We just got the graco head wise70. You should look at that one. I don't drive a small car but I think it would fit in one. We got ours from target.

I have a neon too. MyRide 65! I still have legroom too!

i'm loving this response lol. i'm glad that i got to hear from someone that has a neon and the car seat i want. it's not really me that wants it, it's DD. lol. i took some advice from a friend and let her actually pick out her car seat. i did some research on some and i picked out some that i liked. i let her sit in those and she liked this one best. i figure she's going to be the one sitting in it, so she should like it too.

Mike's an 05 but same style I think. It's totally doable!
