Quoting Sarah24Michelle:" my period is 3 days late and I had a couple ovulation tests so I took one and it was negative. Would ... [snip!] ... it was negative. Would this mean that Im not pregnant? because ovulation tests can't tell the difference between HCG and LH?"
No, you won't always get a positive with ovulation tests. Here's the best way I can explain it. HCG and LH are essentially fraternal twins. Think the Olsen twins. THey look a lot alike, and they can pass for each other. But they are not the same with further inspection. So, they won't always pass for each other. Does that make sense? LOL I wouldn't rely on an ovulation test for a positive or a negative. Go grab a dollar tree pregnancy test
