35 wks, bedrest, poss. induction - wwyd(tmi)?

So here is the situation - I've had high blood press & dr. put me on bedrest & will be doing more testing on the 7th. So I'm on bedrest for sure until the 7th. In the past 2 days I've gone from not feeling right to worse. My symptoms: numb fingers-assuming carpel tunnel, headaches, blurred vision & feeling like I'm gonna puke. I pee alot but short bursts, almost like a uti. I have off/on sharp pains in my vag. and back- uncomfortable, once in awhile painful, but mainly like period pains. I had toxemia with my oldest son, but that came on quick & it was stabbing pains - like I could barely walk. Should I call my dr/go to l&d to see what is up? Or should I just wait til the 7th. What worries me is dr. says if I get worse he will induce - trying to keep my son in as long as possible. thank you!

call your doctor... your blood pressure may be high... I wouldnt chance it.

I get you want to keep your son in as long as possible, but toxemia is no joke. I would call and try to been seen either today or tomorrow.

I was afraid someone else might say that. My dh was pushing for me to call dr. just scared that he'll induce me.

I would definitely call with those symptoms.

It sounds like your blood pressure has gotten higher.
I would call your Dr. right away.

i you do have to get induced its for your own health!!! call your doctor and go in asap! its nothing to play with

Yea you need to go to L&D. At 35 weeks the baby has a wonderful survival chance and most likely a short NICU stay maybe none at all. While I understand wanting your baby to bakes as long as possible your health is just as important.

y mom's friend's blood preassure got too high when she was only 20-something weeks pregnant and she had to get induced whether she liked it or not because her baby's heartbeat was dropping. if you're concerned about your baby, go see a doctor or you COULD lose him/her. she almost lost her boy and her own life. not trying to scare you, but i'm just trying to say you swhould go to a doctor cause you wanting to keep that baby in you longer could end up just hurting it in the long run. good luck!

The worst thing that can happen at this point is for him to stay in there. I completely understand how you feel. I've been in labor since Wednwesday and still no baby but my water hasn't broken. Call your doctor and if he induces, he induces. It may be the best for your baby.

I am 34 weeks almost 35 weeks im on bedrest for high blood pressure also but i havent had anything like what you are describing. i had bad headaches when i was 23 weeks and that when they found out i had high blood pressure put me on bedrest and on medicine. i would say go to your doctors because if you are getting worse then your blood pressure could have something to do with it and i know that if you have hypertenion it can affect the babys growth and you dont want that. so my advice is call your doctor tell them what has been going on and see what they say they will most likley have you come in to check you and make sure it is nothing serious. i hope everything turns out ok and you have a beautiful lil boy

Call ur dr or l&d asap i recently 2 weeks ago was induced.& rushed in for csection due to toximia i went into liver failure & my blood started clotting they couldnt wait any longer for my sake or my daughters at 35 week gestation my daughter was perfectly fine weighed 4lbs 7ounces she came home with me & never even went to the nicu good luck hope everything is ok
