Most 2 year olds sleep in a BED. A swing is not a safe or appropriate option.

Then he is over the weight limit and therefor unsafe.

Try yogurt or cereal with juice for breakfast, and put your foot down about sleeping in his bed.
I can't even imagine a kid that big in a swing or bouncer.
They say you can't spoil babies, but you are most definitely spoiling the smurf out of yours.

And a baby that mobile could get seriously injured trying to get out if it or moving in their sleep.

Then the parents sue the company for their own stupidity   Hell my kid is 9 months and we've pretty much cut swing time down to just naps during the day. I can't imagine him being in it at 2. That's a buncha crap.

I guess I should have thrown in a few other examples of what we eat... this isn't the norm right now. It's mostly all leftover party food. I just paid all my bills for the month, so I have to wait until payday (Tuesday) to go shopping. Otherwise, it's still not incredible, but I'll be more apt to cook something. We eat a lot of eggs, salmon, fruits (tons of fruit... this kid is a fruit-o-holic), and things like that. But I suppose I'm not sure what I'm explaining for... I did ask for insight after all!

I second the menu choices and his sleeping arrangements.

Though IMO TV wouldn't be that awful, if he was getting lots of outside run around time

Babies no, kids. Oh hell yes. Someone needs to become the parent, and that someone needs to be older than 2.

He needs to be sleeping in a bed, not a swing. That can't be good for his back.

& a lot of kids aren't difficult until age 3

My son was way too big before he was one.

His almost 4 year old chunky ass asked to climb in it last night (its in the nursery for his sis) and I was like "dude, you're WAY too big" haha. He's 37-38lbs and 40+in

Okay, that's fine but you have to be a little stricter about what he picks to eat. He can have the cookie, but not when he wakes up...that type of thing. And what about the bed? He has one or not?

Fruit is very sugary too. It should be small amounts and he should be concentrating on veggies and lean proteins.

Yeah, but I'm more worried about the kid getting seriously injured while he's sleepinh

Ours goes up to 25lbs but last check Rory was 19. So yeah he's gonna say buh bye to it real soon. I'm selling it once we get the new one for his sister. It's just a crutch for us anyway. We use it to pacify him so we can have a bit of peace during the day to do dishes or something. We just need to break OUR habit and learn to deal lol

DS is 7 1/2 months and out of the swing already. He won't give up the bouncy seat but I don't think it has a weight limit.
