38 weeks (4 1/2)cm dilated 70% effaced

I've been this dilated and effaced for over a week. This is my second pregnancy my first i had 6 weeks early. Don't know if that makes a difference. But was anyone else dilated and effaced this much for over a week? I've been having contractions every 1-5 mins for a few days and have went to the hospital and been monitored but haven't changed so they had to send me home.

None of that has any correlation to when you'll go into labor.

Seriously! Like here they keep you when you reach the 4 cm mark and if you are not going anywhere they induce you.

Since you asked. I was 6 cm for 31 days. Contrax every 5 minutes that didnt change even with pitocin until my water broke.
