How many days in a row have you received a + Opk (in a month)?

I've been using Opk s for a while now & usually I get 2-3 + each month but this month I clearly got + for 5 days.? But
Why? What?..... Confused? Or was my LH surge long... ?

Did you get a negative after the 5th positive? If not, you may be pregnant since OPKs can double as a pregnancy test.

If you did, then yes maybe you just had an extra long surge. Or maybe you ovulated two eggs in that time period.

Today is the 6th day & it was very close. I couldn't tell + or -

But it still has a second line?

I'd be getting a pregnancy test and taking it. Lol. If the pregnancy test is negative then you either had a long surge or ovulated more than one egg.

The lines are sooooo similar. So I retook another one aster a couple hrs & same result the lines look identical still.
I've been using the same brand for months & this has NEVER happened.

I have gotten 5 positives in one cycle. I did some research on it and one reason for something like this is when your body gears up to ovulate and the egg doesn't release so it tries again. Causing the long surge. It happened to me last cycle. I finally ovulated on the 6th day. I know I ovulated that day because I felt the release in my ovary and I calculated 10 days later to see when I'd see AF and sure enough 10 days later I got AF.

Okay... I see.
But what I just read & didn't know is that even with a+ Opk you still may not ovulate.   :/
