taking naps in his toddler bed

i posted an earlier post about 2 days ago about switching my son into his toddler bed. well he oes really good at night and has no issues but yesterday he refused to take a nap. i tried for about an almost an hour to keep putting him back in his bed everytime i heard him get up. this did not work at all. im gonna try again today but did most of your kids stop taking a nap once they were switch into their toddler beds, or is there anyway i can get him to stay into it to take a nap?. He use to take 2-3 hour naps a day

Once DD was happy going to bed atnight we stopped worrying about getting her in her bed for naps she usualy naps on the sofa downstairs with me if she does at all we never get 2-3 hours though! what do you do with yourself?

DS takes his naps just fine in his toddler bed, butttt he is only 10.5 months old. we had to switch him because he was climbing everything & he goes down with no problems.

When we switched to a toddler bed, we just made sure he stayed in his room for at least an hour. Pretty quickly the novelty of the toddler bed wore off and he resumed his normal nap schedule.

thats what i figured i would do. i hope he starts taking his naps again cause he needs them. yesterday he started getting really cranky around 6pm and thats when my 5 month old starts getting really cranky as well. I am really gratefull he does good at night though i was afraid of that.
