OK really? My husband and i are planning a threesome, but our agreement is if there is to be any other contact with that person we let each other know. I actually had a very similar situation occur except he isn't my boyfriend he is my husband! The problem was I felt like it was being done behind my back and with girls he knew I would NEVER in a million years be interested in. The best course of action is to talk about it because in a threesome situation with your spouse and another women your spouse comes out on top more (pardon the pun) I simply stated if he wanted an open relationship we could draw up paperwork and go our separate ways, because he chose me when he asked me to marry him. a threesome should be fun for ALL parties not just benefiting him. First of all, it was going to be a threesome. But I guess the girl backed out this morning. The gf sent her a message and the girl backed out. The bf doesn't know about the message, the coworker just said she felt guilty. That wasn't even the gf's intent. Lol. But I guess it doesn't matter anymore cause its not happening. No, an open relationship is when the partners are free to date and/or sleep with other people with the permission of the other partner.

I've had threesomes but I'd never have an open relationship. And having a threesome with my s/o doesn't mean he can sleep with her or anyone else without me.

It's a pretty clear difference to me. If I'm not involved, it's cheating. If I am, it's no different than using a dildo together.
