It sounds like he said something without thinking it through all the way. And yes it does seem like you're being sensitive. Just keep it in the back of your mind, and make a conscious effort to prove him wrong convince him with actions, words don't prove anything

You guys are funny, haha. Men are never good at articulating what they really mean, next time just promise you'll be a sweet heart and save yourself the spat. Especially with texting, it's hard to tell the way someone is trying to come across.

But do you realize you were kind of fighting about whether or not you fight? Lol... It definitely seemed like he was trying to speak up about a possible issue while avoiding a fight. I'd take it as a sign he wants to make it work, and work on it. Not stress about it or fight about it.

bothered me he says that
i don't think we fight, i got out of a HORRIBLE relationship, where we were fighting by the second.. so maybe i don't see it

yeah I think you are being way too sensitive and reading too much into an innocent comment and starting a fight over it. I think he reacted well to your "fighting words" Relax don't read so much into stuff

he clearly didnt think what he said through.

Maybe he meant "Im so happy you are coming, we are going to have so much fun!" But instead he said what he did cause he doesnt want anything to bring down the visit.

but YOU went on and on in TEXT asking 'what do you mean' and when he tried to clear it up you still kept argueing with him

And now you think he hates you? But hes having you come visit him? That doesnt even make sense.

perhaps your past relationship still has you a somewhat damaged....be careful with that girl or you might lose on a good thing by being high maintenance.
