CD 28...hopeful?

I need some finger crossing ladies.

So I am on CD 28 and so far I have shown no signs of AF. I have honestly been too busy working, fixing DS's room, and all of my other normal things to even chart BBTs or use OPKs this cycle, but I am trying to look on the brighter side of things. DH and I are actually enjoying BDing again instead of considering it a chore (YAY!) and I am hoping it will work out this cycle. Not to mention I am a Dr Pepper addict and now it tastes funny, also making my stomach upset. I know its more than likely too soon to tell, but I am trying the whole positive thinking thing instead of woe is me.

Anyway, just thought I would share.

Hoping it's a good sign for you. I've given up hope of getting preggo anytime soon. Looks like I'll need help. I may or may not have PCOS. Who the hell knows. I'm waiting on AF right now. If she doesn't show today or tomorrow I know it's cuz my wacky body has decided once again not to ovulate. But I'm having some cramps so hopefully it's a good sign.

I hope things go well for you! I know it gets rough after a while of trying, but I have been trying to ignore the trying aspect and simply enjoying things.

Well we sorta stopped trying. We're just doing whatever now. I was using opks every month and each of those months I did ovulate. Now the first month I did not use opks I don't know if I ovulated or not but I do have a corpus leutum cyst on one of my ovaries that a ct scan found a couple days ago. I figured they only form when you ovulate. If I did ovulate then I should have start my period either yesterday or will start tomorrow. Got a major headache so possibly tomorrow.

Have you tried or heard of Vitex?? I know it sounds crazy but to get DD took over 7yrs with 2 being IVF. We had been ttc for almost a year then I heard about Vitex on here researched it some and thought what the heck and got some. This was my second month on it (first full started like cd4 last mo) and we got pregnant. I know we don't know if that was it but it obviously didn't hurt anything. Wishing you baby dust!!!! Yea I've heard of it and have thought about buying it. I'm thinking about doing it since I have no other option right now. We can't afford to see an RE or anything. I'm gonna also buy me some Fertilaid if the appointment at the doctor's don't go as I'd like. I want her to check all my hormones again. We're also going to check hubby's too.

I agree it's worth a shot. It's very affordable vs the fertile blend stuff it was only like $11 for 100 caps at The Vitamin Shoppe. I've seen it for a lot more on Amazon when based towards fertility so don't fall for that crap. I spent over 2 years with a RE doing IVF and FETs... no fun. Either way that wasn't an option for us anymore since I'm not working and on DH insurance that doesn't cover infertility  So super happy and excited this worked. I truly believe it played a roll. LOTS of Baby Dust to you!!

I think I'll pick up a bottle tomorrow at GNC. It's like 7.00 over there for 100 capsules. So it's worth a shot. It might actually help my period start too even if I didn't ovulate. I hope so cuz I can't take this. I may just go ahead and take a pregnancy test just to be sure which I know I'm not preggo but just in case you know. But since I know I'm not I'll just go buy a dollar store test since I'll only be losing one dollar and go buy the vitex and start taking it ASAP. I hope I'm as lucky as you and it works.

Thank you. My friend asked me this morning if I was pregnant because my son has been acting up. This just started maybe 3 weeks ago. She said that she sees at the daycare where the kids will act up when the mom finds out she's pregnant. I do know that I've been having weird dreams and i don't normally have dreams. The dream I had last night was that I was human and my husband was a lil fish and we were trying to get pregnant. I know totally weird. But it's just dreams like that I've been having.

Did you take a test yet?? I had an extra one so I took it today for fun and it was negative  I'm so sad. I tried not to get too hopeful but when you see that BFP you can't help yourself....

I know the feeling. And yea i did test and right after I tested I wiped and guess what. Pink. AF has decided to show up today. I won't say it was late because my luteal phase has been 10 days. Maybe it's starting to work itself out and become longer. I hope so. I'll get some vitex Friday and start taking that. I'll start temping tomorrow. I have a question though? Why does it say under your pic you're due Oct. 11th. Is that when you got the light positive this cycle? I was just curious.

I hope everything works out. Sorry for AF showing up. She is still mia for me and I had a coworker ask me if I was pregnant after another one had said she had a dream that I came into work pregnant. Oi. I am beginning to think that AF is missing because I am working around so many other women.

Could be. Have you tested again? I'm really not sorry that AF decided to show up. I was worried about ovulating this month since I didn't use opks. I guess I ended up ovulating since it came on time. Which for me is a good thing because since the mc my periods have had a weird pattern to them. They finally started getting back on track this past October. So really I say we've been ttc since January 11 but it's really been since Oct. because before that there were months I didn't ovulate. I was totally screwed up. So really only 5 months of trying with normal cycles. I'm going to call my doc and make an appointment with her to discuss this PCOS thing. See what she can do in the way of testing my egg reserve and all my hormones.

Ahh that has happened to me several times. I take a test and get my period same day. I am not changing the due date/status until I have bleeding just in case it was a faulty test. If no bleeding by Friday I will test again. I didn't just have 1 faint + I had a full WK of positives that got darker but not as dark as the control line. So I'm not exactly sure what isgoing on but I figed either way the levels will have gone up or down by Friday so I'll take a digital. What a roller coaster. Keep me posted onyou !!
