Me: Evan, why are you being mean to your sister?
Evan: *sighs* I don't know... there are just so many infractions around here...
Me: Uh, what do you mean?
Evan: I don't know... it's all just so similar. Sometimes I feel like I need a new look.

But this made me feel SO normal. My oldest Ds is about that age & I swear he make such little sense to me a lot of the time. he uses big words & sound very elaborate - but I often am scratching my head. I seriously think our kids would be BFF's. My Ds isn't worried about "vomits' he calls them pukies & asks the same questions regarding how many he will get & when they will come, etc. I don't have an Emmy (I have an almost 3 yr old Ds that likes to try to communicate everything via sound effects), but I have my own version of one really similar in ways to Evan it seems. ;) VERY funny blog. ;)

Haha no it's fine! That is exactly him. I am always hearing someone say a big, new word around him and thinking "Oh god, how is he going to try to use that one?" haha. He is always interjecting random words into sentences that just make no sense. Every once in a while he'll use a word correctly and we're all in shock lol.

One of my favorite wrong words he uses (so I try not to correct him, I like hearing it) is "where are those destructions at?" and he means instructions. My Dh is a nerdlet & he loves manual, instructions, etc & reads about all of our stuff...so Ds likes to act like he is "reading the destructions". He also told someone recently that my Dh is a sister annihilator...he is a systems administrator. I guess that would explain why Ds has no sisters?
