Try to stay active if you can. I made the mistake of spending my entire labor in bed. If you can get up and walk around, that will help things along!

back labor SUCKS! Don't stay in the bed, move around! Have a wash cloth that can be hot and cold for you back depending on what feels good at the time. All fours really help to relieve pressure, birthing ball, and rocking while leaned into a partner. GOOD LUCK!!!

from my experience wait a little longer before going in. I wound up laboring in the hospital for 17 hours before he was born. And that was with contractions 2-4 minutes apart last ing about a minute to a minute and a half.
Then i couldnt eat it sucked.

So eat somthing haha.

Then move and take showers  .

Labor at home for as long as possible. You will be more comfortable at home and not having someone shove their hand up your vag every friggin 20 minutes and having to be hooked up to the damn monitors. Walk around at home for a while, clean something, vacuum, pack your bag if you haven't, take a shower, and once the contractions get closer together, last longer and are more intense then go in.
