I feel bad for them and want to buy them a sandwich.

It really depends. Usually my thought is mcdonalds is hiring. I get really pissed when I see people with children. I saw one family with a newborn in a car seat it made me sick.

I feel really bad for them and wish I could help them all.

*blink* Why would they have to be a drug addict just to be homeless? Especially lately, smurf is hard for every one

A lot of people think that way. I know my MIL does. She says, "I'm not giving them money, they'll just spend it on booze!"

i put that as a poll option cause it seems like some people take one look at a homeless person and assume that they must be doing drugs!

I've heard people say that & I say "I hope they do. I'd want to get drunk too if I were homesless."

I think "He is probably a Vet" it makes me sad...or I will think "I wonder what has happened in his/her life to get them to this point"

Especially in this cold weather. Alcohol is warming. If I toss them a couple of bucks, I don't really put much thought into how they spend it. I just know they probably need it more than me.

My heart breaks for them. I try not to judge because we've all been down on our luck before. Depends on where it's at but I usually buy them food or give them a little bit of money. Yes I know they could use it for drugs/alcohol but I hope that they use it for good.
