I've had two kids, in a hospital. I pooped with my first. I plan on having a water birth with this one. So this is interesting to see the answers! Lol

I have had three water births and have never pooped in the tub. I did have to poop before I got in the tub to push with my second .

Well... According to my husband and some of the pictures that were taken I did smurf a little during my plain ol' vaginal birth so I imagine it's more than possible in the water. I mean when you're pushing that hard you pretty much use every muscle in the vicinity including the ones you smurf with.
