Maybe you should set up a time in a couple of days? Tell your hubby/so you are serious and need a break. Ask him to give you some money to hire a babysitter for a couple of hours so you can rest.

SO doesn't treat me like that, but i understand him getting a break and never getting one for yourself. everyone is always too busy or just doesn't answer and ignores me. it always seems to happen right when i'm at my breaking point and i need it the most.

No money for that. We barely have enough money for food for the boys at daycare while I am at school this week. SO can spend $30 a week on comic books, but god forbid we need food  

And I'm going to be in school all this week. He has to look after the boys on Friday when I go away, I doubt that is going to go down well.

Right, I've been there. I have a history of depression, so when I get there, someone needs to take my kid or I'll fall apart. OP, talk to your SO about a day you can have just to yourself. Tell him you need some rest to replenish your sanity. I feel for you. <3

I completly agree here! I also feel like my DH can be the same way sometimes as well OP.

Tried. I go to school. I don't deserve a day off because I get 6 hours a day off.

That's when you say hey I'm going to do this or that on Saturday or whatever day so you can watch the kids for me so I can get out. Don't ask, tell him you need a break too and you are going out.
