Because the fact that he wants a relationship with her is none of your concern. No one said not to be her friend, but to stay out of their issues/arguments/whatever you want to call it. I have a good friend I've known since high school, but I don't get involved in her relationship status. I especially wouldn't if it was with my ex who was increasingly unstable.

but she vents to me and talks to me.. but yeah i wont be commenting to him about it EVER again..
