depression gets worse around AF time?

whats it called?? its coming in spurts. i feel really down today, i have all week but today is just like a slap in the face. i wanna cry and go to bed and somehow magically wake up and its all better

I have been having bad mood swings right around the time AF is due. It's awful. I feel bad for my DH.

i know. mine probably hates me right now. nothing is holding my interest or patience right now

Depression does get worse as you get closer to your period. I used to suffer from depression and i still cope with it today but I always notice as i get closer to my period, i get highly agitated or emotional and feel myself slipping back into it.
