Quoting Mama*AtoZ:" Do you go with the flow or have a routine or even a schedule of what activities and things you do? What ... [snip!] ... What does your day/week look like if you're at home all day with your child aged 2-4 yrs? How often do you change what you do?"
We're pretty routine. We wake up, get ready, eat breakfast, and then we start school for my 4 year old. While she's doing something school-related, he's playing with play doh or whatever else (or sitting next to her coloring.) After we're finished with school stuff, we usually have story time & we pile on the couch and read books. After books the kids generally go play together and I clean up the school stuff, and make snack (by this time it's like 10-ish) So, snack time it is. After that we will generally go run our errands if possible. Come home for lunch. After lunch the 2 year old goes down for a nap and my daughter and I work on her 100 Easy Lessons book (learning to read). After that I do my "30 minute clean" time & she plays. After the boy wakes up we generally all play together for a while, sometimes they get one more snack if needed, and then it is usually time for me to cook dinner. That's petty much it!
eta: And then on days like Thursday we have a homeschool co-op, so that changes it up a bit & we volunteer for one of the homeless shelters. That kind of takes up most of our day. But on a normal day? The above is pretty standard. We have a pass to the state parks, science museum, and also go to the library a lot during the "errands" time.
