What did you pack

for your stay what were you so happy you brought and which items did you wish you brought?

Snacks! Like rice crispy squares! The food in our hospital was so awful! There was even hair in the food! So my oh bought me a KFC one day   x

as in hospital bag?..

I was so happy I bought little travel size shampoos(the kind I use) and a tooth brush...oh and a pillow I made my mom bring me my pillow from home.

this time around I'm bringing my own towel(the ones at the hospital are so thin and white which turned out bad since PP bleeding was a problem) and a sports bra..

All I brought was pants, shirts, snacks, camera, phone charger and toothbrush/paste. And my pillow. And baby's goin home outfit.

yeah hospital bag haha should have specified! and thanks ladies I'm trying to get a list together I have the essentials but wanted to know if there's anything extra...like the towel (ill probably buy some specially for this) and such

I don't mind washing them it's the fact that the entire time I was there I had one towel to share between me and DH( so DH went a day without a bath and so did I) and it was disgusting..if anything I'll be bringing him his own towel.

really? omg. SO went home to shower and stuff, but i had a ton of towels, i used like 3 per shower lol.

yeah! it was terrible..I just wanted to shower and I had to wait to come home...and DH was there the entire time with me....it's gonna be 3 years since I've had a baby and from what everyone says it's gotten a lot better...BUT I'm gonna be prepared for the worst!!..what they lacked in hospitality they made up for with taking care of my baby...literally no one was allowed to come or go unless they registered as a visitor and then they had to be scanned if they left the maternity ward..and all baby's had their own barcode bracelet that if they got within 10 feet of the elevator it set off an alarm...

no but you can never be too safe and it's mainly so they don't accidentally give someone else the wrong baby...I've never heard of a case of baby snatching down here...

A hairbrush. haha I forgot one with my daughter and had to call my mom to bring me one.

Also bobby pins and my own pillow. I freaking hate hospital pillows!

The hospitals here have alarms too. And they check your bracelet and baby's everytime they bring him back to you and you have to sign off on it.
