Mann wtf?

SO works crazy hours all the time. About 16 hrs a day. Usually when he gets home its already time for bed. So we hardly ever spend time together. Well he got off at 2pm today which was great but I thought he was going to work all day so I went out of town with a friend. Well he was suppose to meet me at home at 5pm today because that's when I would be getting back. He told me he was hanging out with his friend Tanner. Well I just texted Tanner asking if he can tell SO to call me because SO's phone is off. And Tanner said he was working and wasn't with Zach. So obviously SO lied to me about hanging out with him and he's two hours late which makes me think the worst that he's cheating or something...  

Uh oh.... I can't even think of something else he would be doing.

Had you called everywhere he could be? Hospitals? Parents? Police? I would he freaking out.

That's never fun, and hard not to think the worst. I hope it's something not so bad.

I know it's easier to jump to the worst conclusion but could it be something else? Is there a birthday, anniversary, even Valentine's day he could be planning for?

Well i wouldn't assume cheating without any other evidence. Plus this sounds like it's the first time he's done something like that from the OP.

He said he was on his way home but stopped to get gas and saw his old friend from out of town and his friend invited him over so he went and lost track of time.
