Credit Report?

What is the best way to get a credit report? I've never gotten one before and I really need to start with that to figure out how to fix my credit. My score is in the 400's so that's prettttyyyy damn bad if not the worst! The only outstanding bill I know about is AT&T from 2009 that I plan to take care of when I get my taxes back and the report.

Also, anyone have any tips on how to go about building credit up??? I'm desperate

Try credit karma too, it doesn't give you your score but it does give you a grade and tips for improving as well as a simulator for how doing certain things will affect your score.

I use creditkarma, quizzle, and order my free annual one each year.

Creditkarma gives you a score. Idk how accurate it is, but it's your transrisk score which is provided from Transunion, I believe.

It's not accurate, that's why I said it's more of a grade. Mine is greatly inflated.
