not sure

For the past 4 days i have been having what i think maybe contractions about an hour to a half hour apart... and ive been leaking i think its amniotic fluid today i am having more contractions about a half hr to about 20 mins apart im not sure if they really are contractions with my son i only could feel the bh contractions and i was pretty much numb by time the actual contractions started so im not sure the different feeling of them. I have a drs appt on monday but im wondering if i should go get checked b4 then or just wait it out any sugesstions?

Anytime you think you are leaking amniotic fluid, you should get checked out. How far along are you?

From my experience, if you are lightly leaking take in your panties or pad that have the fluid on it. I cleaned up before going and baby's head plugged the leak, so L&D sent me home claiming it was not my water. It was and I'm glad that I had an appointment later that day. Had I not had an appointment, I would have gone home and continued to leak, putting myself and baby at risk for infection.

i am 35weeks and 6 days i am not leaking very much but the pain is getting where it hurts to stand up or sit for more then 5 to 10 mins.

was planning on going in to get checked earlier but every person who said they would watch my kids for me has came up with every excuse possible to back out on me so i guess ill have to wait for my SO to get home and go by myself  

I went in and got checked they told me the amniotic fluid is still at a good level and confirmed ive been having contractions before i left they were 10-15 mins apart and they sent me home and told me to get ahold of my dr in the morning.. Umm it is going to be Sunday and no one is in my drs office on Sundays.... but ok i guess if the contractions get closer then ill just go back in and they can call my dr... I am really starting to doubt that i want to have my child at this hospital especially since my sister was in there for her gallbladder surgery and they wouldnt help her go to the bathroom and she was still on the surgery gurney using a soiled linen bin for a stand bc thats what they gave her.. and when they went to release her the nurse didnt even know why she was there and they didnt give her anything for pain since she got out of surgery at 11am and wasnt released til 8pm...
