Sometimes it's not a matter of numbers, but of perception. She may feel warm/hot to you, but she's not acting sick, she's probably fine, but even knowing that you worry still. It's the pits when you're worried and you want to do something to make your baby feel better, but sometimes we build it up in our heads and get stressed out when it's not a big deal. Distract yourself so you stop worrying for a little bit (you don't want your little one to pick up on your concern and start worrying too), then check her again in a while. My one daughter always feels hot to me, our thermastats are set at very different numbers, I find that if I put her in a bath, after that I can get a better read on her temperature, and I feel better. You don't want to give her something unneccissarily; one doctor friend told me long ago that it's better to let them go without something to treat the fever if they're comfortable, only give it if they're uncomfortable. If they're comfortable without then they're body is easily handeling whatever is happening and doesn't need help.
