16 weeks and fever

LO's temp rectally is 101.3. tylenol and cool bath 2 hours ago. on hold with the 800 nurse line through my dr. ER visit or no?

nope you will get more germs there and thats not really that high for an infant

Everywhere I have read 101 is the cut off point for a child between 3-6 months for a fever. I just got off the nurses line and they told me to get him in ASAP not only for the fever but for his sleepiness and not wanting to eat.

I did. Rushed him right in. He came up positive for RSV this evening and was admitted AND since I am a no-vaxx parent they are keeping him longer then they normally would! His O2 levels were dropping below 80 when they got him upstairs to ICU. They had to rush the dr in after they did a breathing treatment on him because he got 10x worse!
