baby constapation
posted 2nd Feb
For the past two or three weeks my 6 almost 7 month old has only pooped like 3 times.. and its one small hard little poop.. the doctor didnt seem too bothered by that.. but i still feel like i could at least try to help him go.. can i give him anything to help the process or should i just wait it out? Also today he has been super fussy and i feel like it has to do with his belly..

Some prune juice should do the trick.

I had to start giving my daughter juice daily for constipation once in a while half a suppository if it was really bad she goes regularly now for the most part plus anything berry always makes her go

Dd had horrible constipation and we tried everything. If prune juice doesn't work 1 tsp of miralax in a bottle should. It's safe for babies and your body can't become dependent on it like other laxatives.

Really? DDs pedi said that's why it's the only kind he recommends. Dd needed it everyday for like 3 months until she weaned off formula and now thankfully she goes everyday no issues without it.

Yeah, it doesn't happen overnight, but the body can become dependant on it.
