Valentine's/Birthday Gift Ideas.

I am stuck here...

My SO's birthday is the day after Valentine's Day. My birthday just passed in December & we were totally broke, so I told SO not to get me anything. Well, now we are doing better but he doesn't want me to get him anything because he feels bad about my birthday.

I really want to at least do something special for him on Valentine's Day. But keep in mind, we do live with his mom & step dad until our house is done. So I can't really do a romantic dinner.  

Any ideas?

you can take him out to dinner. even if it's not romantic, take him to his favorite place.. or where you had your first date, or where you met.. something sentimental.
