Spotting After Sex

I am 17 weeks pregnant. Last night I had sex with my husband missionary. This morning we had semi-rough doggie style.

When I went to clean up after this morning. I had some spotting. I wiped once and it was like a full swipe. It looked like the light pink you get right before your period starts. Then I wiped again and there was remnants but I was clean. I haven't wiped again.

For those of you who have spotted after sex and everything was fine what was your experience? Did you spot the whole day?

Did anyone have an experience where the baby wasn't alright?

I never spotted with my daughter. Then again I never had as much sex when I was pregnant with her.

I've spotted from sex both of my pregs.

That honestly sounds like you may have gotten a little too rough and scrubbed yourself a bit raw. Its normal, bc everything down there swells while you're pregnant bc of extra blood flow. As long as its not coming out all bright red and clotted and you're not hurting the baby should be fine.

I am relatively early, and just spotted for the first time after sex.

(DH have sex like rabbits!) So I was more than worried when a normal sex (nothing fancy or even rough) caused clear mucus with red blood streaks. I actually had a panic attack and called my doctor. I only spotted then, and it was over.

Doctor told me if the red blood stopped, I wasn't having cramps, or etc., then spotting after sex, is normal. At any gestation age.

I know its nerve wracking, but as long as your spotting doesn't come with period cramps, you're fine. Even if you spot the whole day.

I'm 29 weeks and spotted for the first time lastnight after sex. I never spotted with my other pregnancies I also was with my ex though. I DH is bigger and has a prince albert I honestly think its because we did it reverse cowgirl. I went to go clean up afterwards and it was pinkish colored blood. I feel fine now though and there was no cramping associated with the spotting so I just assumed everything if fine and I feel fine. I also read that it could be the extra blood flow to the cervix.
