laboring alone

iam due in march, a lot of baby dad drama, can i labor by myself, i just dont want anyone in the delivery room

You have to do what makes you comfortable. The nursing staff should help you reinforce that should there be any issues on the big day.

Of course. Have u considered a doula for support? Plus there's always a nurse there. So you wont be like 100% alone. Its nice to has a support person but Definitly not required. Do what you're comfortable with.

Of course you can! I had my DS by myself (and the hospital staff) since DH was deployed. You just need to tell the nurses you don't want anyone else in the room during labor & delivery.

I've never heard of anyone not liking their doula. If anything they can help reaffirm your wishes if you get vulnerable. Nurses tend to take advantage of that vulnerability if you don't have someone there to stand up for you and help support you. Only one person I've known who had a midwife said a doula would have been useless cause her midwife was basically her doula. She stayed the whole time and pushed her to follow her birth plan.

I had my boyfriend in there with me but there a was a super sweet nurse talking me threw it and reinforcing me mentally and helping my boyfriend to get me threw it when the time comes just ask a nurse to coach u threw it good luck
