I still have this sneaking feeling it's twins...

OK so here's the story... I had an appt at 10 weeks and my uterus was measuring halfway to my belly button!!! Doc stopped the appointment and sent me for an ultra sound insistent he thought it was twins (my uterus he said shouldn't even be above the pubic bone yet until 12 weeks!) sooo to my ultra sound I went and we only saw one slightly relieved and slightly bummed. At 16 weeks I was measuring at my bellybutton (20 weeks is when I normally measure there.) That lands me at 4 weeks ahead on measurement! WTH!? Now starting yesterday I feel all this pressure and last week I just popped and started looking ginormous! Anyways I am waddling like a woman at full term and it hurts so bad to walk. I can't get comfortable while sleeping and it's been like that for weeks already. But now walking and most sitting positions hurt. I also started feeling movement every single day at 12 weeks and am feeling TONS of movement now. Last night the baby straight kicked my heartbeat monitor and made me loose the heartbeat. So I know for a fact it isn't impossible to have a hidden twin... but how possible IS it to have one? I have my US on the 8th and I'm scared... I don't want to find out that way I guess. But I guess it's the only way to find out really. This is such a weird feeling. I just feel so strongly there is more than one.

Well you can get bigger faster with each preg and feel movements earlier. I had a vanishing twin and it messed up my body and stuff in diff ways. I felt like there was still twins and I couldn't get an instinct on gender or anything.

There was no question it was twins for me at a 6 week us. Its possible to have one hidden. Good luck

You tend to show faster with subsequent pregnancies.

A friend had her anatomy scan at 20 weeks, found out she was having twin girls. She had numerous appointments prior where they only heard one heartbeat, measured a little above normal. Her first pregnancy too.

It's so weird. I know people say each pregnancy is different... but I have had the same experience with all 4. I have always gained the lowest but exact ammount of pounds at the exact weeks I was supposed to. Always measured average right on key with what they say. I also started loosing my mucus plug at 16 weeks which I always loose it early but usually right around 20 weeks. Also I have been STARVING! Like there is something going in my mouth ALL day. Thank God I eat out of the veggie drawer for almost all my snacks! But I do crave the filling feeling of eating bread LOL! Anyways. I'm just so nervous. I've also had several friends early on in this pregnancy call me and tell me I was preggo with a boy AND girl. (If I have twins I pray to God it's just two boys! LOL!) Any ways I'm just so consumed by the thought...

I can say I was ALWAYS hungry. After the first 12 weeks of just loosing weight and not wanting to eat, I began eating everything all day. Good luck!

Have they suggested the possibility of twins? weighed myself today. :/ I now weigh 132!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I started at 115!!! Thats 17lbs in 19 weeks!!!

He didn't have much to say when I asked if the heart beat on two different sides of my belly were for one baby. He says we will see on the 13th and only the ultra sound can tell us. I'm like uhhhh ok?!

geeez! My doc didn't want to let it go another minute! That's nuts!

I measured 5-7 weeks ahead on my last pregnancy, they did an u/s to make sure it was one also...And then they came to conclusion that my uterus was just bigger cause it was my 3rd...now pregnant with my 4th, I am 8w almost and my uterus is the size of a 3-4 month pregnant uterus..But my youngest is only 7 months, so my uterus is stretched alot
