Just for fun, who is your idol, or someone you look up to.

It can be anybody at all. Musician, family member, an actor/actress, anybody at all.
Why?

I look up to the lead singer of my favorite band, why? Because when I was 12 I first heard them on the radio. Well that day I was done with life.. completely done. At 12 years old I wanted to end it all, well as soon as I heard their song something in my mind clicked and said "This isn't the end" and from then on I fell in love with the music. It helped me day by day, I grew stronger. The lead singer is my favorite member because of a lot of reasons. I have been through some of the same things as him, and his lyrics in the songs give me hope that things will get better. I really hope to meet the band someday to thank them for giving me so much hope and a new look at life. If not for them I honestly wouldn't be here today. When it seemed like nobody cared I listened to their music. They saved me<3

My childhood best friend's Mom.

When my Mom was on drugs and in a very chaotic, abusive relationship, she seriously did everything she could to help me. For nights that got really crazy and I had to be brought there at 2 AM, she always had food, clothes, lunch money, etc for me. Her and her husband constantly provided emotional support, stability, help with homework, motivation to stay in school, etc. I didn't quite get it back then, but they had four children of their own, both worked full time, and never ONCE complained about taking care of me. They are amazing people. I definitely think that a huge part of who I am and the fact that I was able to survive that part of my life is because I did have a loving, stable, "normal" home to grow up in even though it wasn't technically my family.

My gramma. She really is bad ass - she is 94 & still kicking it - like grows her own veggies, lives alone, drives all over, does whatever she wants to do. I tried to mow her lawn for her & I am petite, so no matter what I tried I couldn't pull the cord hard enough to start it. She waited until I pulled it like 20 times & then silently walked outside, grabbed the cord, gave it one rip & it started. Then she just walked away. Her advice is always solid & you couldn't shock her if you tried. She has seen it all, done most of it, and can kick your ass while she's at it. LOL She's so cool she goes to Cali to stay with my cousin & his boyfriend & could care less. She never said anything but "I thought so" when he came out.

I'm friends with an older lady on twitter who I've talked to a lot and we've skyped a lot so I knew that I wasn't talking to some pervert guy or something.
and she's like a second mom to me, always worried about me and there for me 24/7. She lives in a different country though so time zones are confusing but she said if I ever need somewhere to stay she'd gladly let me live with her.

I wish I had someone I looked up to.

Aww, it's amazing what ONE supportive loving person can do! I always hope that all the kids I work with have at least one person to be a support system.

It is, honestly she makes me feel like someone actually cares about me. and the fact that she stays up a lot to talk to me when I'm depressed means so much to me. Without her support I honestly don't know if I could go through this alone.
