Stomach super hard and now my ribs hurt.

I was in a U-Haul for 13 hours last night and at a pit stop I noticed my belly was tighter than I'd ever felt before. It was the strangest thing and now my ribs hurt at the very top where they meet in the middle and I wonder what is causing this?
