heat rash and cold hands

1) DS has had these weird little bumps on his back for the past 2 weeks. It looked a lot like heat rash, so his pedi said to just keep and eye on it. Well it went away, but not fully. He still has the little bumps on his back. Is this normal?

2) I'm hoping LO is like me when it comes to this, but he ALWAYS seems to have cold hands and feet. I'm the exact way, but my Dr. had me on iron pills when I was pregnant to try and stop it from happening. Think I should talk to his pedi about it? can he be low on iron?

and 3) DS seems to be prone to dry skin. No matter how often I lather on baby lotion, his upper arms, thighs and legs are always dry. I tried to cut back on baths being it is so cold here and the weather might contribute to the dry skin. I wipe him down, but try to always lather him back up with lotion and he is dry the next morning. What else can I do?

he may be having a dry skin issue.. both of mine have winter skin through the winter and can get spotty spots all along their torso and legs..

he should get his iron levels checked at 9 months.. but they can test it before then I'm sure.

I feel so bad for him! It looks so uncomfortable but nothing I do to help him works!
